I went to the mineral bath near my home for some healing and relaxation. While it started as a calming experience, a dangerous moment reminded me of God’s incredible power to save.
Relaxation at the Mineral Bath
From time to time, I visit the local mineral bath, just a five-minute walk from my home. The mineral water is said to have excellent benefits for the body, helping with organ health, tendons, and ligaments. Today, I decide to go because I’m not feeling well and want to recover.

Bath Shower
The bath is in average condition, and the fee is $10 for one hour—a bit pricey for me. To get the most value, I plan to stay in the water for at least 20 minutes. However, staying in mineral water for too long can be risky, as it places stress on the body. The recommended approach is to soak for 4–5 minutes, rest, and then repeat.
A Life-Threatening Moment
After staying in the tub for about 12 minutes, I already feel exhausted but push myself to stay longer. Suddenly, dizziness sets in, and I know I need fresh air. I decide to step outside.
As I try to open the door, I realize I’ve locked it. The key is stuck, and panic rises. The room is hot, and I am feeling faint. A terrifying thought crosses my mind: If I pass out, it could take at least 30 minutes for someone to find me. Breaking the door could take even longer, and by then, it might be too late.
Desperate, I start praying in my heart: “Oh Lord, please let me open the door.” In that very moment, the key turns, and the door opens. I step out into the cool, fresh air and lie down on a nearby bench to recover.
A Lesson in Caution
As I rest, a few people walk by and ask if I’m okay. I assure them I am. The experience leaves me shaken but deeply grateful to God for answering my prayer.
Next time, I’ll make changes to ensure safety. I won’t lock the door, and I’ll bring cold water to stay hydrated.
Mineral baths are excellent for healing, but they require caution. I’m incredibly thankful to God for saving me from a dangerous situation. His presence in my life is a blessing. Thank You, Lord, for this and all the good things You do!
